EEG’s MILLION TREE CAMPAIGN

In support of the United Nations Environment Program ‘Billion Tree Campaign,’ EEG surpassed its target of overseeing the planting of more than 1 Million trees in 2007.

Answering the renewed call of UN and under the aegis of UNEP, EEG has pledged to push forth the tree planting movement in UAE, throughout 2010.

Support this project and help combat climate change and reduce carbon emissions in the UAE. Get involved and do your share!

Highlights of events in 2010


Can Collection Drive 2010-MAY

EEG is proud to announce that it has exceeded its Can Collection Campaign target of 20,000 kilograms during the 2010 Can Collection Drive on the 8th of May. The Drive took place simultaneously in 12 sites across the 7 Emirates and had over 250 participants taking part, which included schools, colleges, companies, corporate houses, families and individuals. The event witnessed collections of over 7,000 kilograms of Aluminum Cans on that single day, bringing the total collections to about 22,000 kilograms!
EEG would like to thank and congratulate its volunteers, participants, sponsors and supporters for the magnificent effort everyone has put in!
